Pak forex reserves climb to $14.3701 bln

KARACHI: Pakistan’’s total liquid foreign reserves have increased to 14.3701 billion dollars, said statement issued by State Bank of Pakistan here on Thursday.
On Feb. 20, 2010 the foreign reserves held by State Bank amounted 10.520 billion dollars whereas the net foreign reserves held by banks other than SBP were of 3.849 billion dollars.

KARACHI: The Karachi police arrested on Thursday a key Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) commander and seized a huge cache of arms from his possession.
SP Umar Shahid told reporters that Anti-extremism Cell raided a house situated in Sohrab Goth and arrested the alleged terrorist Abdul Aziz.
